January 31, 2019 (El Cajon) -- A brand new Mexican coffee shop is brewing delicious coffee to warm you up on these chilly mornings!

Conveniently located across from Prescott Promenade Park, next to Rock A Betties and Thrill Seekers, it’s an easy place to find.

Open at 5:30 a.m. for you early risers, and closes at 8:00 p.m. George (Jorge’) Acosta is a friendly young man who greets you with a smile.

George and co-owner Carolina Gonzalez have taken a leap of faith and just recently began this aroma filled venture in El Cajon.

Specializing in Mexican style coffee, which is a delicious treat for the taste buds, you will enjoy a leisurely stop here as you take a break from whatever you’re doing.

Many other styles of coffee and tea are available for your tastes and pleasure as well. Hot or iced, the menu is nicely varied. From regular coffee, to lattes, frappes and smoothies. There’s even hot chocolate for the kids, or those of us who are still young at heart--all at reasonable prices.

Pastries are also available if you’re hungry, supplied from another business you might recognize - Mary’s Donuts, which will soon be opening soon just a couple doors down from Amor Mio under the "new" name of: Main Street Donuts & Deli.

Free wi-fi is also available for those who may need the service.

Sit inside this cozy café or relax outside at a table for two. A large wrought iron fenced outdoor seating area is coming soon to handle the anticipated larger crowds of coffee connoisseur.
