July 27, 2024 (Detroit) -- CNN reports: "During a conservative Turning Point Action Believers’ Summit, former President Donald Trump urged Christians to vote, saying they wouldn’t have to do it again if they got out there in November and elected him." Trump urges Christians to vote: ‘You won’t have to do it anymore’ (msn.com)
Donald Trump has previously said if he didn’t win there would be “bloodbath” if he loses and claimed, “I’m not sure that you’ll ever have another election in this country.” He has called for the “termination” of our Constitution and bragged “a lot of people like” his calls to be a “dictator on day one.”
WATCH: Last night, Trump again vowed to end democracy if he did win, stating: "You won't have to do it anymore. Four more years, you know what, it will be fixed, it will be fine. You won't have to vote anymore."
Harris for President spokesman James Singer issued this statement in respnse to Trump's vow to end democracy:
“When Vice President Harris says this election is about freedom she means it. Our democracy is under assault by criminal Donald Trump: After the last election Trump lost, he sent a mob to overturn the results. This campaign, he has promised violence if he loses, the end of our elections if he wins, and the termination of the Constitution to empower him to be a dictator to enact his dangerous Project 2025 agenda on America. Donald Trump wants to take America backward, to a politics of hate, chaos, and fear – this November America will unite around Vice President Kamala Harris to stop him.”

I AM VOTING FOR A PROVEN LEADER, TRUMP‼️
Misinformation on Walz military service
Propaganda sites have spewed misinformation on that, falsely claiming he dropped out of the National Guard because his unit was being deployed overseas.
In fact he had announced his plan to run for Congress and leave the service many months earlier. He served 25 years or so in the National Guard, which is more than Trump, who never served a day. As for his title, the National Guard itself has issued a statement saying he has a right to use the title he's been using, as he earned it. Maybe don't listen to the propogandists.
I haven't heard about any candidate's family being overwhelmingly against the candidate running, except for Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who had many of his family members issue a statement denouncing his candidacy and endorsing Biden at the time. I did hear that Walz had a relative who supports Trump, but there are probably many candidates with extended families who have a relative or two on the other side of the aisle. My own family includes people in both parties.
