March 28, 2010 (El Cajon) – The City of El Cajon’s recreation department holds its annual Dance and Tumbling Recital, “Under The Big Top!” at the East County Performing Arts Center this Sunday, March 28, 2010, from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
“It promises to be a day of amazing performances by the students in the City’s dance and tumbling classes,” a press release issued by organizers states. “This event has been a highlight in the City for over 30 years.”
his year’s recital will again showcase talents of students ages five through senior adult in tumbling, tap, jazz, cheer, hip hop, lyrical and modern jazz.There are 277 dancers and tumblers, from beginners to advanced, participating in 49 routines after 10 weeks of class training.
Proceeds from this recital directly benefit participants through program, equipment, or facilities enhancement. On March 28, tickets will be available an hour prior to the 2:30 p.m. and the 4:30 p.m. performances at the ECPAC theater ticket office.
