May 10, 2019 (San Diego’s East County) – The East County Education Alliance was founded in 2014  as a partnership with the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College and Grossmont Union High School districts. It’s now expanding to add the Mountain Empire Unified School District.

The fourth annual meeting of the alliance will be held on Tuesday, May 21 from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. at Cuyamaca College in the Student Center I-209, 900 Rancho San Diego Parkway, El Cajon.

The meeting will include sharing of the alliance’s accomplishments and progress.  The Alliance was formed to increase collaboration between districts so that students are better informed about their college and career options and have a smoother path to and through college.

A formal signing of the East County Education Alliance Agreement by representatives of all three boards will take place at the meeting.
