EAST COUNTY MURDER SUSPECT TURNS SELF INTO POLICE

June 23, 2012 (La Mesa)—Manual Morales Rodriguez, 28, is under arrest after turning himself into the Chula Police headquarters Friday night. Rodriguez told officers that he was wanted for the murder of Jesse Nader, 26.  Nader, a resident of Spring Valley, was stabbed to death in the 4200 block of Mars Way in Rancho San Diego on June 17.

Sheriff deputies responded to a reported assault at the crowded residence.  Paramedics took Nader to Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival, Lt. Larry Nesbitt with the Sheriff’s Homicide Detail reported.  The assailant fled the scene before deputies arrived. 

Rodriguez has been booked into the San Diego Central Jail on one count of murder.
