August 27, 2023 (Milwaukee) - Today was just a fun day to avoid getting swept.  Michael Wacha started against Adrian Houser for the Brewers.

Ha-Seong Kim scored in the first, but William Contreras hit a solo homer to deep left in the home half and we were tied at one after one.

Gary Sanchez blasted a two-run homer in the second and Matthew Batten hit a solo shot and the Padres led 4-1 after two.

And then the Brewers started to come back.  Sal Frelick walked with the bases loaded in the third to score Christian Yelich and the Padres led 4-2 after three.

Rowdy Tellez hit the game-tyer in the sixth with a two-RBI double.  Carlos Santana walked with the bases loaded to score Andruw Monasterio.  Frelick doubled to score two and Mark Canha singled to score another two and the Brewers led 9-4 after six.

Trent Grisham and Batten scored on wild pitches in the seventh, but Contreras doubled in the home half to score Monasterio and Milwaukee swept the Padres with a 10-6 win.
