August 18, 2023 (San Diego) - The Padres didn’t put up much of a fight last night as they let the Diamondbacks take game one.  They tried again tonight with Brandon Pfaadt on the mound for Arizona against Seth Lugo.

In a rare sight, we were deadlocked until the eighth until Ha-Seong Kim and Fernando Tatis Jr. decided they’d had enough and hit a two-RBI single and a two-run homer, respectively and the Padres evened the series with a 4-0 win.

Due to Hurricane Hilary, game three and four are tomorrow at 12:10 p.m. and 5:40 p.m.  A pitcher to be named starts for the Dbacks against Yu Darvish in game four and Merrill Kelly will start for Arizona in game three.
