June 6, 2023 (San Diego) - After the Padres split with the Cubs, they left and the Mariners came to town for two games.  Logan Gilbert started tonight’s game one for Seattle against Grossmont High alum Joe Musgrove.
SDSU alum Ty France singled in the third to score J.P. Crawford, but in the home half, Rougned Odor scored to tie the game at one after three.

Teoscar Hernandez got the lead back for the Mariners in the sixth with a deep solo homer to center and Seattle led 2-1 after six.

Julio Rodriguez added on with a solo homer to left in the eighth.  Hernandez lined a single to right that scored France and the Mariners got the best of the Padres in game one, 4-1.
