June 19, 2023 (San Francisco) - The Padres are out on the road again up north for four games against the Giants.  Michael Wacha started tonight against Ryan Walker for San Francisco.

After Fernando Tatis Jr. was caught stealing third in the first, Juan Soto made up for it with a solo homer to left and the Padres led 1-0 after one.

Ha-Seong Kim added on in the fourth with a two-RBI single to center and the Padres led 3-0 after four.

Soto hit his second homer of the night, a solo shot to left on the first pitch of the fifth inning, but David Villar put the Giants on the board with a solo homer to left too and the Padres led 4-1 after five.

Mike Yastrzemski cut the lead in half in the sixth with a solo blast to right and the Padres led 4-2 after six.

Blake Sabol scored on a wild pitch in the ninth and the Giants tied the game with a sac fly from Patrick Bailey that scored Yastrzemski.  Nine innings weren’t enough, so we went to extras.

But in the 10th, Yaz lived up to his name and blasted a three-run walk-off homer and the Giants took game one 7-4.
