April 7, 2023 (San Diego) – A celebration to honor San Diego State University’s men’s basketball team after its historic run to the NCAA championship will be held Saturday night at Snapdragon Stadium in Mission Valley. The team made the final four for the first time in the university’s history.
Parking and tickets are free, though fans must claim tickets in advance at https://am.ticketmaster.com/sdsu/2023MBBCelebration.
Parking lots open at 4:30 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m., with a red carpet arrival by the team at 6:30, following by a walk into the stadium from the roundabout on the southeastside to the east gate. The main festivities start at 7:30 p.m.
The program will feature speeches from players and coach Brian Dutcher, plus dignitaries from SDSU and the city of San Diego. Limited concessions willb e open, along with a merchandise stand.
There will also be photo opportunities with the Mountain West and South Region championship trophies.
