I-15 CLOSED DUE TO 5-CAR PILE-UP, 2 FATALITIES NEAR MIRAMAR

October 1, 2011 (Miramar) – If you’re going to the Miramar Air Show today, expect long traffic delays. A portion of I-15 is closed due to an multi-vehicle accident that has resulted in at least two fatalities, Incident Page Network Reports. A SIG Alert has been issued for what CHP’s website indicates is a five-vehicle crash on I-15 southbound, just south of Miramar Road.  HOV lanes are open to all vehicles however alternative routes are suggested to avoid delays.

 

San Diego SIG ALERT's website indicates a motorist is suspected of driving under the influence.
