December 1, 2017 (San Diego) - The 14-time champion San Diego Sockers (5-0) edged the Tacoma Stars 4-3 at the accesso ShoWare Center in Kent, WA. Captain Kraig Chiles added two goals and one assist to his league-leading total of 16 points to pace the Sockers. The win extended San Diego’s lead in the Pacific Division to three games over the Stars and Ontario.

Chiles continued his torrid start by scoring the first Sockers goal at 6:35 of the 1st period. Hiram Ruiz provided the assist that led Chiles to the goal on a low shot to the back post from the right side.

Two Tacoma goals book-ended Brian Farber’s first goal of the season at 11:47 of the second quarter, which came off an assist from Chiles.
