MAN SHOT IN HEAD IN SPRING VALLEY, SUSPECTS FLEE

April 17, 2015 (Spring Valley) – The Sheriff seeks public help to locate four suspects who fled the scene of a shooting Wednesday evening after one of the suspects shot a man in the head.

Deputies from the Rancho San Diego Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to the 8700 block of Ildica Street at 5:47 p.m. on April 15th. They found a man on the ground, shot in the head.

Witnesses told deputies that the victim had been in a verbal altercation with four adult suspects just prior to the shooting. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle just before deputies arrived.

Units from the San Miguel Fire District arrived and transported the victim to the hospital for the treatment of his injuries. An investigation of the incident is on-going and is being conducted by detectives from the Rancho San Diego Sheriff's Station.
