MASKED SUSPECTS WANTED AFTER ATTACKING RESIDENT DURING HOT PROWL BURGLARY IN UNINCORPORATED EL CAJON

December 5, 2019 (El Cajon) – Three masked men forced their way into a home in the 1400 block of 5 D Drive in unincorporated El Cajon shortly before 9 p.m. last night.  The homeowner told police that her adult son heard a knock at the front door and opened it to find the three intruders, all armed. One of the intruders struck the son in the head, injuring him.

The men are all described as around 5 ft. 10 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds and wearing all black clothing. One wore a black ski mask, another wore a white ski mask, and the third wore a bandana partially covering his face.
 
“The three suspects fled from the residence in an unknown direction after taking miscellaneous property from inside the house. The homeowner was unharmed while her son was transported to the hospital for further treatment of his non-life-threatening injuries,” says Sgt. David Chandroo with the Sheriff’s department.
 
Detectives from the Lakeside Sheriff station responded to the crime scene.
