October 31, 2018 (Lakeside) - East County’s own Mr. Ed, a horse named Jackson Day, has a book titled I'm Jackson Day and I'm here to Stay. On November 10th, you’re invited to come meet and dance with Jackson at Selah Ranch, 11314 Morena Ave. in Lakeside, from 1-3 p.m.
Jackson has appeared on the course of Horse and Rider and his story was featured in Reader’s Digest. He will also be in the 2019 San Diego Humane Society Calendar as Mr. July.
Come meet the horse Jackson Day who has defied the odds time and time again. A colt that was born septic; he was never supposed to make it to his first birthday. Jackson not only made it to one year, he continues to make it and do it in Jackson style. He is now 17 years old.
Jackson and his human mom and Auntie Jan have put a book together to bring joy and inspiration to kids of all ages. So put on your boots and hats, buy a book or two, and Jackson may even give you his signature for your book.
