August 31, 2016 (Atlanta) - The Braves shocked the Padres yesterday, but the Friars hoped to rebound today.  Paul Clemens started against Matt Wisler for the Braves.

Things didn’t start off too great again.  In the first,  Ender Inciarte scored on a balk by Clemens to make the score 1-0 Braves.

Adonis Garcia doubled in the third to score Matt Wisler and the Braves took a 2-0 lead.

The Padres got some reprieve in the fourth with Oswaldo Arcia’s home run and the lead was cut to 2-1 Braves.

The Padres were able to keep it like that for a few innings, but in the sixth, Gordon Beckham doubled, scoring Nick Markakis and Tyler Flowers and the Braves went up 4-1. Inciarte singled, scoring Beckham and Dansby Swanson and the Braves led 6-1.

The Braves added on in the eighth with Freddie Freeman’s single that scored Inciarte and the lead was 7-1.  Former Padre Matt Kemp hit a sac fly to score Adonis Garcia and the Braves took game two by another big margin, 8-1.

Hope you're ready to wake up early or stream the game at work; game three is at 9:10 a.m.  Jarred Cosart will start for the Padres against Mike Foltynewicz for the Braves.
