Pedestrian Bridge to Grossmont Center-

It has been common knowledge since the Trolley was introduced to La Mesa that the criminals ride the Trolley to La Mesa, take a car home. Through the years crime has increased at an alarming rate here. There have been numerous robberies of pedestrians around the Grossmont Transit Center, not to mention just this week the robbery of SDCCU & Petco which are nearby.

Since this pedestrian bridge is already going to be built allowing greater access by the criminals, all we can do to be safe in this area is not frequent it. I plan to do more online shopping, think my first purchase will have to be a taser so when that carjacker who took the Trolley to La Mesa hops in my car, I am protected. God knows I won't be walking anywhere near the Grossmont Transit Center.
