PINE VALLEY MAN ARRESTED FOR MURDER

Update January 23, 2016 -- The Medical Examiner has identified the victim as Donnie Chipp, 28.  Cause of death was a stab wound to the chest.

January 22, 2016 (Pine Valley) – Pine Valley resident Douglas Kell, 20, has been arrested and charged with murder.

The victim, a 28-year-old man, was found dead with obvious trauma to his torso on January 21^st in the yard of a home at 8026 Valley View Trail in Pine Valley, said Lieutenant Kenneth Nelson with the Sheriff’s station in Pine Valley.

Deputies responded after a caller reported hearing a loud altercation from the home.

Identification of the victim, cause and manner of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner’s office.
