September 2, 2018 (Ramona) — The sixth annual Ramona Art and Wine Festival will be held Saturday, November 3rd from 11 a.m. to 5 p.,m. at Begent Ranch, 18528 Highland Valley Rd. in Ramona.  Enjoy fine art available for purchase, tastes of hand-crafted local wines, foods from local artisans, bakers and cheese makers, a live auction of hand-painted wine barrels and a food pavilion – all to benefit the Ramona H.E.A.R.T. Mural Project.

October 2, 2018 (Ramona) -- Ramona Author Joyce T. Strand will introduce her 10th novel, Dangerous Delays, at The 6th annual Ramona Art and Wine Festival, Saturday, November 3rd, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Begent Ranch, 18528 Highland Valley Road, Ramona, CA 92065. 

 

Strand will also be signing books at The London Bakery, Saturday November 10th from 12:00 p.m. to 2 p.m. Mentioned in the book, The London Bakery is located at 632 Main St, Ramona, CA 92065

August 21, 2018 (Ramona) – The Ramona Chamber of Commerce will present the 48th annual Ramona Country Fair, Thursday, Aug. 23 to Sunday, Aug. 26, at the Ramona Outdoor Community Center, 421 Aqua Lane, Ramona. Admission is free. Parking is $5 per carload. Fair hours are: 5 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 235 to 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 2411 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25 and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 26.

Learn how to create a less thirsty and environmentally friendly landscape! Join Solana Center for this presentation where you will learn the basics of water wise gardening. Using trial-tested advice and interactive demonstrations, our expert educator will teach you all you need to know to get started with a garden that fits San Diego's semi-arid climate.

HOT TIMES AT THE RAMONA COUNTRY FAIR CONTINUE THROUGH SUNDAY

August 25, 2017 (Ramona) – Midway rides, crafts, critters, fair foods from funnel cakes to bacon-wrapped hotdogs,  kids activities and more are all part of the fun at the Ramona Country Fair, which continues tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.  From 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday you can also enjoy the Ramona Bluegrass Festivals on the Main Stage, plus a Gymkhana equestrian show in the arena from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  

We visited  today, arriving to the aroma of slow-cooked, barbecued meats and the sights of butter slathered corn on the cob.

August 12, 2016 (Ramona) -- Ramona Ranch Winey and Round Up Grill/John Little Catering are partnering to host “Live at the Lake," an interactive outdoor music, food and wine fundraising event on Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm to benefit Shelter to Soldier, a non-profit organization that adopts and trains shelter dogs to serve as psychiatric service dogs for post-9/11 combat veterans. The event will take place at the Lake Henshaw parking lot located at 26439 Highway 78 in Santa Ysabel, CA, 92070.
