REALTORS TRADE GROUP WILL HOST ASSEMBLYMAN RANDY VOEPEL FOR MEET-AND-GREET

March 16, 2017 (El Cajon) – The Pacific Southwest Association of Realtors (PSAR), a real estate trade group for San Diego-area realtors, will host California Assemblyman Randy Voepel for a meet-and-greet from 8:30 to 10 a.m., Friday, March 31, at PSAR’s East County Service Center, 1150 Broadway, El Cajon. The public is invited to attend. Members of PSAR’s East County Governmental Affairs Committee are organizing the event.

Voepel, former mayor of Santee, will discuss pending legislation that increases taxes and eliminates landlord rights, as well as his role as a member of the Local Government, Insurance and Aging Committees. For more information, visit www.psar.org/meetgreet.

 

Before his election to the Assembly in November 2016, Voepel served on the Santee City Council between 1996 and 2000, and then served as mayor (2000-2016). A Vietnam veteran, Voepel served two tours in the conflict with the US Navy. After leaving the military, he worked nearly 40 years in the insurance industry. Voepel’s 71st Assembly district includes the East San Diego County communities of Alpine, Borrego Springs, El Cajon, Rancho San Diego, Ramona, Santee, Mount Helix, Spring Valley and Lakeside, as well as the Southern Riverside County communities of Anza, Aguanga, Idyllwild, Pine Cove, Lake Riverside and Mountain Center.
