SDSU DIVERS COMPETE AT TROJAN INVITE

November 10, 2017 (Los Angeles) - San Diego State had a pair of divers in action at the Trojan Diving Invitational on Friday with senior Alexandra Caplan and freshman Emily Reed finishing 12th and 16th, respectively, in the 3-meter diving competition.

Caplan’s total score of 473.15 led the Aztecs on Friday. Reed, the only freshman to compete in the five-institution field on Friday, posted a total score of 425.10. Caplan’s preliminary score of 258.45 was good enough for the eighth best score in the round.

The Aztecs continue action at the Trojan Diving Invitational tomorrow with the 1-meter preliminary round starting at 11:00 a.m. in Los Angeles. The finals will take place at 1:30, and on Sunday, the event wraps up with platform competition beginning at 11:00 a.m.
