October 12, 2019 (Fresno) - The Aztec swim and dive team wrapped up the Chick-Fil-A Invitational at Fresno State in second place.

The Aztecs finished with 865 points, behind Cal’s 1373 points. Fresno State came in third with 471.5 and was followed by Washington State (404.5), New Mexico (402) and San Jose State (249).

October 11, 2019 (Fresno) - The Aztec swim and dive ended day one of the Chick-Fil-A Invitational in second place (out of six teams) with 537.5 points.

Cal enters the final session in first with 812.5 points. Behind the Aztecs are the host school, Fresno State (268.5), Washington State (248.5), New Mexico (240) and San Jose State (148).

October 10, 2019 (Malibu) - The Aztec swim and dive team beat Pepperdine 66-60 in a dual meet at the Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool Thursday morning. SDSU had the best time in five of the six swimming events and swept the one-meter diving competition. The Aztecs improved to 5-0 in dual meets on the year.

August 28, 2019 (San Diego) - Head coach Mike Shrader of San Diego State swimming and diving team has released the team's 2019-20 schedule. The Aztecs kick off the season on Sept. 13 when they take on San Diego and UCLA for a pentathlon meet at the University of San Diego.

February 2, 2019 (Los Angeles/Flagstaff, Ariz.) - The San Diego State swimmers capped an undefeated run through dual meet action on Saturday, defeating Loyola Marymount 124-103 at the Burns Aquatic Center on Saturday afternoon. Heading into the Mountain West Championships beginning on Feb. 20, the Aztecs are a perfect 13-0 and have finished their fourth undefeated dual-meet season in the last six years.

January 20, 2019 (Los Angeles) - The San Diego State divers finished action at the UCLA Diving Invitational on Sunday, competing in 1-meter competition. Ximena Lechuga Gonzalez led the Aztecs for the third consecutive day, finishing the day with a ninth-place finish with a final score of a 532.10.

January 18, 2019 (Los Angeles) - The San Diego State divers finished 3-meter competition at the UCLA Diving Invitational on Thursday. Ximena Lechuga Gonzalez and Delaney Gallagher led the Aztecs, recording 10th and 18th place finishes, respectively, in the 60-diver competition.

January 11, 2019 (San Diego) - The San Diego State swimming and diving team finished its 2018-19 home schedule with a 143.5 - 139.5 win over Fresno State at the Aztec Aquaplex on Friday morning.

Alma Thormalm was SDSU's top point scorer, winning both the 50 free (23.95) and 100 free (51.60). The Aztecs started the meet off winning each of the first eight events and logged the top time in 13 of a possible 14 swimming events.

December 31, 2018 (San Diego) - The San Diego State swimming and diving team capped the 2018 calendar year with a pair of wins over Oregon State (134-120) and Incarnate Word (166-73) on Monday morning at the Aztec Aquaplex. With the pair of wins, SDSU improves to 10-0 in dual meets this season and 34-1 in their last 35 dual meets dating back to the start of the 2015-16 season.

November 15, 2018 (Columbia, Mo.) - The San Diego State swimming and diving team scored 203.5 points on the first day of the Mizzou Invitational hosted by the University of Missouri on Thursday, trailing only Missouri (407.5) and Arkansas (279) while holding a significant lead on Florida International, which stands fourth with 145 points.

October 6, 2018 (Fresno) - The San Diego State swimming and diving team continued a successful performance at the Chick-fil-A Invitational hosted by Fresno State on Saturday morning, finishing the two-day meet in second place with 963 points, 476 points ahead of third-place finisher Fresno State. Last year’s national runner-up, California, took first place in the meet, claiming 1250 points over the two-day event.

September 14, 2018 (San Diego) - McKenna Meyer claimed the top finish in San Diego State swimming and diving’s season-opening pentathlon meet against San Diego, leading SDSU to a 33-24 win over the Toreros. SDSU took each of the top seven individual spots and 13 of the top 15 overall.

February 18, 2018 (San Antonio) - The San Diego State swimming and diving concluded the Mountain West Championships at the Palo Alto College Aquatic Center and placed second for the team’s ninth consecutive top-three finish. February 15, 2018 (San Antonio) - The San Diego State swimming & diving team capped off the first day of the Mountain West championships with a share of first place with Nevada, owning 189 total points.

The Aztecs recorded a second-place finish in the 200 medley relay, with Alma Thormalm, Caitlin Delany, Summer Harrison and Klara Thormalm teaming up to post an SDSU season-best time of 1:38.69 – just .46 seconds behind first-place finisher Boise State.

January 19, 2018 (San Diego) - The San Diego State swimming and diving team defeated San Diego, 151-131, in a dual meet at the Aztec Aquaplex on Friday to conclude the regular season. The Aztecs finish the 2017-18 dual meet schedule with an 11-1 record and now look towards the 2018 Mountain West Championships on Feb. 14-16 in San Antonio, Texas.

January 14, 2018 (Los Angeles) - Six divers from the San Diego State swimming and diving team concluded competition at the Bruin Invite on Saturday in platform competition. The final event of the Bruin Invite featured 49 divers from 13 different teams.

January 13, 2018 (Los Angeles) - Six divers from the San Diego State swimming and diving team completed the second day of competition at the Bruin Invite at UCLA on Saturday. The Aztecs had a trio of divers finish in the preliminary’s top 25 for 3-meter competition, with Alexandra Caplan leading the way with an 11th-place finish in the finals. The Aztecs were one of seven teams in the 13-team competition to have three or more divers finish in the top 25 of the preliminary round.

January 12, 2018 (Los Angeles) - The San Diego State swimming and diving team had six divers compete at the Bruin Invite at UCLA on Friday. The three-day event started with 1-meter competition, with two of SDSU’s six divers reaching the finals in the 55-diver field. The Aztecs were one of five teams in the 13-team field to have multiple divers reach the finals.

January 8, 2018 (San Diego) - The San Diego State women’s swimming and diving team defeated New Mexico (158-142) and Fresno State (179-121) while falling to Colorado State (153-147) in an all-Mountain West quad meet at the Aztec Aquaplex on Monday. With the loss to Colorado State, SDSU sees a streak of 24 consecutive dual meet victories come to an end – a streak that began at the start of the 2015-16 campaign.
