March 20, 2021 (Greensboro, N.C.) - San Diego State senior swimmer Klara Thormalm and junior diver Ximena Lechuga Gonzalez closed their time at the 2021 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships Saturday. San Diego State finished with a total of six points throughout the event.

In the preliminary heat of the 200 breast, Thormalm touched the wall 2:08.85, her heat’s best effort and her season-best swim. Her swim earned her a 19th-place finish.

Lechuga Gonzalez finished her time at NCAAs with a 39th-place finish on the platform, scoring 204 points in the preliminary round.

With the NCAA Championships completed, SDSU finishes a 2020-21 season where it posted its 12th consecutive top-three finish at the Mountain West Championships and went a perfect 4-0 in dual meets to give the Aztecs their sixth perfect dual meet season in the last eight years.
