November 12, 2017 (Los Angeles) - San Diego State had four divers reach the finals of the platform competition at the Trojan Diving Invitational to lead the five-team field at the University of Southern California on Sunday afternoon.

Alexandra Caplan led the Aztecs for the third consecutive day, recording a score of 436.95 to finish in sixth. Caplan was followed closely by a pair of her teammates with Nicole Dutton (399.85) and Delaney Gallagher (395.15) finishing seventh and eighth, respectively. 

 

Emily Reed was the lone freshman to reach the finals in the platform competition and recorded a score of 373.20 to finish in 11th. 

 

The San Diego State swimming and diving team will see its first home action of the 2017-18 campaign this week, as the Aztec Aquaplex serves as host to the A3 Invitational beginning on Nov. 16.
