The Aztecs had two athletes compete in the 3,000m steeplechase.

May 7, 2022 (Oxnard) - San Diego State track and field's distance squad was in action at the Oxy Invitational on the campus of Occidental College in Oxnard, California. 

The Aztecs will have two athletes participating in the 3,000m steeplechase, Isabelle Davis and Naomi Smitham. Both athletes placed in the top 10 in the event on Saturday night, with Smitham finishing in eight place, running 12:09.94, and Davis ran 13:03.66 to finish ninth.

 

The rest of the Aztecs are off this weekend as they prepare for the Mountain West Conference Championships which will be held in Fresno, California May 11-14.
