Four Aztecs score two goals

March 16, 2019 (San Diego) - The No. 25 Aztec water polo team (8-10, 1-1) cruised past Concordia 11-4 Saturday afternoon at the Aztec Aquaplex. San Diego State didn’t allow a goal in the first half and started the game on an 8-0 run enroute to their first GCC win of the season.

Four Aztecs scored two goals: Emily Bennett, Maddie Higginson, Sydney Hurst and Haley Hagerty. Goalkeeper Maura Cantoni didn’t allow a goal in her 21 minutes of action.

The Aztecs scored two first quarter goals and then three in each quarter after.

STAT OF THE GAME

This was the first game the Aztecs didn’t allow a first half goal.
