March 7, 2010 (San Diego’s East County) – Three serious accidents have been reported this afternoon in East County, including a head-on collision and possible fatality on Wildcat Canyon Road and an overturned vehicle on fire on State Route 67.
On State Route 67 at Vigilante Road, an overturned vehicle is on fire. The accident occurred on a blind curve; one person trapped has been rescued but traffic danger remains with vehicles approaching at high speed around the curve.
A head-on collision has occurred at the intersection of Wildcat Canyon Road and San Vicente Road in Ramona, CHP reported at 1:13 p.m.
In addition, Incident Page Network reports a major injury accident at Wildcat Canyon and Muth, with one victim in CPR status and additional emergency vehicles requested. A CHP website posting at 12:24 lists the Muth Valley Road accident as a possible fatality.
