January 2, 2018 (Julian) - William Heise County Park in Julian offers more than 10 miles of picturesque hiking trails.
We’ve highlighted a one-mile stretch, the Cedar Trail, that will get your heart pumping, given you go try it out after watching the virtual version of it!

April 14, 2012 (Julian) -- Join the park staff at William Heise County Park, 4945 Heise Park Rd. Julian, each Sunday in April and May at 10:30 a.m. for an easy to moderate hike through the trails of the park. The hikes will take place weather permitting. These hikes may be cold, so bring a sweater, jacket, gloves, water, and snacks.

September 12, 2011 (San Diego County) – September is a beautiful time to head outdoors and enjoy over 350 miles of hiking and biking trails at more than 90 parks in San Diego County spanning 44,000 acres—mostly in East County and our region’s inland areas. Many have organized activities, as do local community and recreation centers. Below are listings for some of the fun activities planned this month.
