SANTEE SEEKS PUBLIC HELP IN UPDATING TRAFFIC CIRCULATION ELEMENT WITH DEC. 12 WORKSHOP

 

November 27, 2013 (Santee) – Santee’s Development Services Director Pedro Orso-Delgado announced efforts are under way to update the Circulation Element, a section of the General Plan that provides the framework for all aspects of transportation in the City. The Circulation Element addresses how local and regional traffic will circulate through Santee under both existing and future conditions, as well as the needs of bicyclists, pedestrians, and transit users.

WINTER WELLNESS REMEDIES WORKSHOP IN ALPINE

November 20, 2012 (Alpine) – Myra Thompson Bull, L.Ac., will present a workshop on Saturday, December 1.  Learn how to make winter wellness remedies in your own kitchen from easily available ingredients—just in time for cold and flu season. Enjoy a morning of delightful scents and wise recipes to ward off winter ailments.  This hands-on workshop will be followed by a light lunch.

October 22, 2012 (El Cajon)--A series of free “How-To” workshops designed to help East County small business owners improve their employee productivity and performance is being offered by the San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District.

“We’re proud to work with the chamber to offer courses dedicated to supporting East County businesses so that they can be as productive and effective as possible,” said Cindy L. Miles, college district chancellor.

OCT. 19 QUAIL BRUSH WORKSHOP ANNOUNCED

October 11, 2012 (El Cajon) – The California Energy Commission's staff will hold a workshop on October 19 at 1 p.m. regarding Quail Brush, a natural gas peaker power plant proposed adjacent to Mission Trails Regional Park.

The workshop will be held at the Grossmont College Griffin Center building in the Grffin Gate Room, 8800 Grossmont College Drive, EI Cajon, CA 92020.

WELLS FARGO HOSTS JAN. 25 WORKSHOP TO HELP SAN DIEGO CUSTOMERS FACING MORTGAGE PAYMENT CHALLENGES

January 22, 2012 (San Diego)-- Wells Fargo & Company  is hosting the first of three free workshops across Southern California in San Diego for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Wells Fargo Financial, Wachovia Mortgage and Wells Fargo Home Equity customers facing financial hardships. Wells Fargo has invited more than 9,000 mortgage customers in San Diego County and South West Riverside to the free workshop which will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m., at the San Diego Convention Center - Hall E located at 111 West Harbor Drive in San Diego. Parking is free - customers should refer to the event website for instructions.
