CHANCE, DOG SHOT IN ALPINE, RELEASED FROM HOSPITAL

February 25, 2012 (San Diego’s East County) -- Chance, the retriever-mix who was found with a bullet wound on the Viejas reservation earlier this week, was released from the animal hospital and arrived at the County Animal Services shelter in San Diego yesterday. X-rays show tremendous improvement in the dog’s lungs and his prognosis is very good.

Animal Services is now accepting applications for Chance’s adoption. The public can visit http://www.sddac.com/docs/Special_Adoption.pdf for an application.
