MEASURE TO GIVE STUDENTS MORE CONSUMER INFORMATION ABOUT PRIVATE PROPRIETARY COLLEGES, UNIVERSITIES HEADS TO GOVERNOR

September 4, 2012 (Sacramento)—A bill to provide students with more accurate consumer information about private, for-profit postsecondary schools was approved by the Assembly and will head to the Governor for his consideration.

AB 2996 by Assemblymember Marty Block (AD-78) would alert students at these institutions which are regulated by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education of:
