CREWS RESCUE TRAPPED VICTIM AFTER HEAD-ON CRASH IN DEHESA

October 13, 2013 (Dehesa) – Uppdated October 15, 2013 -- A critically injured patient was freed from wreckage of a  high-speed, head-on crash in Dehesa and air-lifted to a hospital. The collision occurred at 8:13 a.m. at the junction of Dehesa Road  west of Sloane Canyon Road. 

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Ford Explorer driven by a 46-year-old man from Spring Valley crossed the center line while traveling eastbound and struck a Nissan Titan driven by a 21-year-old man from El Cajon.  

  “The driver of the Nissan had no time to react,” said CHP officer Kevin Pearlstein.
