ALPINE CRIME PREVENTION ALERT: SHERIFF SEEKS PUBLIC HELP TO SOLVE STRING OF CAR BURGLARIES

 

September 29, 2010 (Alpine) – “Alpine is experiencing Auto Burglary and Window Smashes,” Paula Dickenson, USN Ret., crime prevention specialist with the San Diego County Sheriff’s Alpine substation said in release sent to media and area residents. “It's an opportunity for the thief…When it occurs, contact Sheriff's Dispatch, 1-858-565-5200, for our Alpine Deputy to take a report,” she said, also offering tips to protect your vehicle.

CAR BURGLARIES ON RISE IN LA MESA

 

March 24, 2010 (La Mesa) – La Mesa Police seeks the public’s help to reduce a growing number of car burglaries.

 

Over the past month, car burglaries have occurred throughout the City but the l pattern has been for a small area to be targeted and several cars burglarized from late evening to sunrise. Most frequently targeted areas are along Baltimore Drive north of Fletcher Parkway, Parkway Drive west of Baltimore Drive, and the residential areas around the intersection of Amaya Drive and Severin Drive. Apartment and condominium complexes, where residents do not have garage parking, have also been frequent targets.

EIGHT VEHICLES BURGLARIZED IN LA MESA THURSDAY NIGHT

 

December 18, 2009 (La Mesa) -- Yesterday during the early morning hours, eight cars were burglarized in La Mesa, mostly in the 5600 block of Amaya Dr. and the 9100 block of Campina Dr. Various items were stolen during the burglaries, mainly loose items lying in open view. There is no suspect description at this time.
