June 28, 2012 (Santee) – The City of Santee will host “Santee Salutes” festivities on July 4 featuring live musical entertainment by 80z All Stars, patriotic ceremonies, an inflatable zone for kids, food trucks, and of course, fireworks.
This year, the event moves to a new location in Town Center Community Park East at 550 Park Center Drive in Santee.Festivities run from 3:30-9:30 p.m..A patriotic ceremony with color guard will be held at 6 p.m. and the fireworks display starts at 9 p.m.

San Diego – Those wanting to see the fireworks light up the sky on July 4 won’t have to worry about the hassle of traffic and parking. Metropolitan Transit Service (MTS) has extended service for the holiday. All three trolley lines will operate expanded service after the fireworks end--whether you're heading to the beach areas or relishing 4th of July fireworks displays in East County. There are also special rates and hours throughout this holiday week.
