August 8, 2017 (Alpine) -- The quarterly potluck meeting of the Alpine Historical Society will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 20^th at the Alpine Woman’s Club, 2156 Alpine Blvd. The speaker, Rochelle Lynn Gaudette, will discuss new the exhibit titled Coast to Cactus in Southern California and the accompanying book Coast to Cactus: The Canyoneer Trail Guide to San Diego Outdoors. If you have ever been curious about the geology, ecology and biodiversity of San Diego County this is a great opportunity to learn from an expert.

April 15, 2016 (Alpine) – The Alpine Woman's Club will host its inaugural “Flowers in the Mountains” garden tour on May 7^th.  Tickets for the garden tour are $15 each or $20 on day of the event, and may be purchased at Postal Annex, 2170 Alpine Blvd., or by sending your check to Rita David 2023 Running Mare Lane, Alpine CA 91901. For mail in orders and to purchase tickets you can pick them up on Sat May 7^th at 9:30am at the Town Hall 2156 Alpine Blvd.

November 5, 2015 (Alpine) - The next Alpine Woman’s Club monthly meeting will be held on November 17, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. The Club is open to all East County Women. Its mission is two-fold: to provide opportunities for Alpine women to meet and socialize and to maintain its clubhouse which is the Historic Alpine Town Hall at 2156 Alpine Blvd.

September 29, 2015 (Alpine)—Alpine Country Gifts & Crafts is hosting its 22^nd annual “Something to Crow About”  Craft and Harvest Festival from Thursday October 8 through Saturday October 10. The event will be held at Alpine Woman’s Club, 2156 Alpine Blvd., Alpine, and features crafts and homemade items, including “Owl Nesting Boxes.”

April 17, 2014 (Alpine)--The 21st Annual Alpine Woman's Club Victorian Tea - Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the Alpine Woman's Club. The club is located at 2156 Alpine Blvd in the historic Town Hall.  Mark your calendar for this very special occasion! As momentum builds for the Club's Centennial Celebration coming up in October, this year's Tea promises to be extra special!  This year's entertainment will be "Fashion Through Time," a show spanning a century of fashionable attire presented by members of the San Diego Costumer's Guild.

September 14, 2013 (Alpine) – Alpine Country Gifts & Crafts presents its 20^th annual Craft & Harvest Festival at Alpine Woman’s Club, 2156 Alpine Blvd., Alpine on October 10 through 12.  The event features crafts and handmade items including “Owl Nesting Boxes” and festive foods from the Woman’s Club Kitchen.

November 9, 2012 (Alpine) – The Alpine Woman’s Club 8th Annual Holiday Home Tour is December 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. You will have an opportunity to stroll through five stunning homes which will be decorated for the holidays and visit a local church which will also be decorated for the season.

September 2, 2012 (Alpine) – The Alpine Woman’s Club will be holding its monthly luncheon on September 18 at 12 p.m. at 2156 Alpine Blvd., Alpine.  The Rhinestone Grannies will perform a variety of songs and dances at the event.  Some of the members of the Rhinestone Grannies include past CCT Senior Follies cast members.

The luncheon is open to all East County women as well as past and future members.  Space is limited, so please make a reservation prior to September 15 by contacting Judy Grant at 619-445-1987 or alpinejude@yahoo.com.

 February 15, 2011 (Alpine) – Victorian dress is optional at the 18th annual Victorian Tea, sponsored by the Alpine Woman’s Club on February 26, 2011.

Harkening back to a bygone era, the event will feature finger sandwiches, English scones, delectable desserts, and a melodrama production titled “And the Lamp Went Out” directed by Tim Arends.
