February 27, 2019 (San Carlos) – Thomas Jordan Hayes and Willow Singer, both 19, were found dead last night by Singer’s mother in front of the family’s San Carlos home on BudlongLake Ave.
Both were graduates of Patrick Henry High School. Singer was in the class of 2018. Hayes graduated in 2017.
Hayes shot his girlfriend, Singer, with a handgun and then killed himself, according to San Diego Police homicide Lt. Anthony Dupree, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports. No motive has been disclosed.
Members of the San Diego Unified School District’s Crisis Response Team were at Patrick Henry High on Wednesday to assist students, staff members and parents coping with the tragic news.
