WOMAN KILLED BY TROLLEY IN LEMON GROVE

November 21, 2019 (Lemon Grove) – A woman was struck and killed by a Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) trolley yesterday at 3:42 p.m.  The fatal collision occurred at the San Altos Trolley Station on Massachusetts Avenue in Lemon Grove.
 
An investigation into the cause of the accident is being conducted by the San Diego County Sheriff’s department and MTS. The tragedy caused temporary shutdown of the trolley line in the area yesterday.
 
“The Medical Examiner's Office is in the process of identifying the victim,” says Sergeant Z. Sanchez.
