September 29, 2017 (San Diego) - The San Diego State women’s tennis team finished first day as host of the SDSU Fall Classic I with several victories, sweeping its doubles matchups and winning five of seven singles draws. The three-day tournament continues tomorrow at the Aztec Tennis Center.

September 29, 2017 (Logan, Utah) - San Diego State earned a 2-1 road victory in a matinee on Friday at Utah State. The win moved the preseason favorite Aztecs to 5-6 overall and 2-1 in the Mountain West, while the Aggies, who earned a first-place vote in the preseason poll, fell to 6-4-1 (1-2 MW).

September 29, 2017 (San Diego) – With the Chargers gone, Friends of SDSU has announced a ballot initiative to transfer the former Qualcomm Stadium (currently SDCCU) to San Diego State University to become the SDSU West Campus Research Center.

September 28, 2017 (San Diego) - The San Diego State volleyball team came out on the wrong side of the score in a hard-fought loss to San José State at home Thursday night, falling in five sets (25-18, 23-25, 29-27, 16-25, 15-17) at Aztec Court.

September 27, 2017 (Wolcott, Colo.) - Despite shaving five strokes off its collective score from the previous day, the San Diego State women’s golf team slipped into a tie for fifth place at the Golfweek Conference Challenge on Wednesday after shooting a 7-over-par 295 during the final round at Red Sky Golf Club.

September 27, 2017 (La Mesa) - It’s been a little cold the last few days, but it’s starting to warm up again and it’s perfect water polo weather as the varsity Santana Sultans boys--who are having an impressive season so far, sporting a 6-2 record (but 0-1 in league) made the trip to Helix to take on the Highlanders, who aren’t doing as hot at 4-7 overall and 0-2 in league play.

September 24, 2017 (Edinburg, Tex.) - Behind a Kyle Adams fourth minute goal, the San Diego State men’s soccer team capped a perfect weekend in the Lone Star State, defeating Incarnate Word 1-0 on Sunday night. The Aztecs now head into conference play with an even 4-4 record, while Incarnate Word falls to 2-4-1 on the season.

September 24, 2017 (San Diego) - Aztecs women’s soccer faced UNLV for the first time at home this season today.  Keep in mind that UNLV is the same team that gave the Aztecs a crushing defeat in the Mountain West playoff game last year. The Aztecs hoped for a better result today.

September 22, 2017 (Alberquerque) - The San Diego State men's golf team remains in a tie for sixth place at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate after shooting a combined 16-over-par 592 during the first two rounds on Friday at UNM Championship Course. Through 36 holes, the Aztecs share the sixth position with host New Mexico after posting scores of 292-300 on the par-72, 7,555-yard layout.
