ALPINE CHAMBER CELEBRATES COMMUNITY HEROES AUGUST 27

August 20, 2016 (Alpine) — East County Magazine will be among the “community heroes” honored at the Alpine Mountain Empire Chamber of Commerce’s “Heroes Excellent Leadership Public Service” or “HELPS” awards.

The awards will be presented at a dinner to be held Saturday, August 27th at the Viejas Casino & Resort, Grand Oak Ballroom.

June 15, 2016 (San Diego's East County) – Local chamber of commerce groups in San Diego’s East County will jointly present “Politics in Paradise” from 5:30 to 8 p.m., Thursday, June 30, at the Water Conservation Garden at Cuyamaca College, 12122 Cuyamaca College Dr. West, El Cajon. Chambers supporting the event include the San Diego East County Chamber, Lakeside Chamber, Santee Chamber and Alpine Mountain Empire Chamber. Also supporting the event is the San Diego East County Economic Development Council (ECEDC).

ALPINE VILLAGE CHRISTMAS PARADE OF LIGHTS & SNOW FESTIVAL DEC. 4

November 30, 2015 (Alpine) – The community of Alpine welcomes visitors to the 20th annual Alpine Village Christmas Parade of Lights and Snow Festival on Friday, December 4th.

The free Snow Festival includes a real snow hill, lighting of the Alpine Community Christmas Tree, Santa Claus (bring your camera!), family activities, vendors, crafters and more.  The parade starts at 6:30  p.m. (with entrants lining up starting at 6 p.m. at Alpine Blvd. and West Victoria Drive,) and ends at the Alpine Creek Town Center (1347 Tavern Road) for the Snow Festival from 7 to 9 p.m.
