January 29, 2019 (Jamul) – Craig “Brody” Broderick, co-owner of Brody's Burgers & Beer in Jamul, is recovering in a hospital after suffering severe injuries in a skiing accident.  
 
According to a post by his wife on the restaurant’s Facebook page, “Craig was skiing Tuesday at Alta and in a freak accident went head first off of a 15 ft. cliff and landed on his head.”
