If you want to vote in the June 5 gubernatorial primary election, but your tight schedule won’t allow you to visit your polling place Tuesday, take advantage of weekend voting hours at the Registrar of Voters office in Kearny Mesa.

“We know people are busy and voting on Election Day Tuesday may not be convenient,” said San Diego County Registrar of Voters Michael Vu. “Weekend voting gives them yet another option to cast their ballots or drop off their vote-by-mail ballots.”

The office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3 for weekend voting at 5600 Overland Ave., San Diego, 92123.

Voters can also drop off their mail ballots outside the Registrar’s office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. this weekend or on Monday, June 4. On Election Day, the drop-off hours will be from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Additionally, the Registrar’s Office has set up 41 mail drop-off locations throughout the county. The drop-off sites will be open during each location’s regular business hours until Monday, June 4 and then from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.

If voters prefer to visit their designated polling place Tuesday but need information on where it’s located, they can look it up on sdvote.com by entering their address.
