COUNTY BUDGET DELIBERATIONS AND ADOPTION TUESDAY

June 25, 2021 (San Diego) - The County of San Diego’s $7.03 billion recommended budget for fiscal year 2021-22 will go before the Board of Supervisors for deliberations and adoption starting at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29.

VIRTUAL COUNTY BUDGET HEARINGS BEGIN MONDAY

The recommended budget plan is part of a two-year operational plan that will help determine how the County spends its resources.

Following Monday’s budget hearing, an evening hearing will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12. Budget deliberations and formal adoption of the first year of the budget plan are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Aug. 25.

NEW COUNTY BUDGET PRESENTED TO SUPERVISORS

 

The County’s most vulnerable residents are the focus of a new recommended budget formally presented to the County Board of Supervisors Monday. The $6.21 billion budget for Fiscal Year 2019-2020 invests $112 million in new spending for residents struggling to get by in our region.
