April 10, 2023 (New York) - The Padres had a great series down South, so they decided to try their luck up north in New York, more specifically Queens, against the Mets.  Yu Darvish started tonight’s game one against Max Scherzer.

The Mets only needed five runs to put the Padres to rest.  Jeff McNeil doubled to score two, Eduardo Escobar hit a sac fly to score Mark Canha and Fracisco Lindor hit a two-RBI double and New York held the Padres to just two hits in a 5-0 win.
