May 11, 2023 (Minneapolis) - The Padres and Twins played an early game today to wrap up their series.  Both teams looked for the win today.  Yu Darvish started against Bailey Ober for Minnesota.

Fernando Tatis Jr. hit a solo homer in the first, but Joey Gallo walked with the bases loaded in the second, allowing Alex Kiriloff to score from second and we were tied at one after two.

The Padres reclaimed the lead on Juan Soto’s double that scored Manny Machado in the fourth, but Kyle Farmer knocked out a solo homer in the home half, but Rougned Odor did the same thing in the fifth to give the Padres the lead again, 3-2 after five.

Gallo scored on a fielder’s choice in the seventh with the bases loaded.  Carlos Correa gave the Twins their first lead with a two-RBI double to left and the Twins took a 5-3 win to take the series.
