HAUNTFEST BRINGS SPOOKY FAMILY FUN TO EL CAJON OCT. 25

September 23, 2019 (El Cajon) – The 8th annual HauntFest in downtown El Cajon is expected to draw around 40,000 visitors in Friday, October 25th from 5 to 10 p.m. 

This year, HauntFest includes live music on two stages, costume contests on the Main Street stage, expanded carnival rides and games, candy challenge activities, a Kidz Zone, face painting, performances by TNT dancers and the Arts in Motion Crew and Junior Crew. There’s also the St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center Pumpkin Patch, craft and game booths, an LED rock wall, inflatable jumps for kids, showings of the first two Harry Potter movies and more.

October 26, 2014 (El Cajon)—El Cajon’s third annual Halloween festival was a hit once again. The festivities took place in downtown on Main Street, Sulzfeld Avenue and Rea Street as well as Prescott Park. The area became quickly crowded with many costumed people enjoying themselves as dusk began to settle in and the night enveloped the area in darkness.

DESTINATION EAST COUNTY: OCTOBER 11-26

 

October 7, 2014 (San Diego’s East County) --This week’s Destination East County features an art show, a vintners’ harvest festival, a Fair Trade holiday sale, and the Pumpkin Express complete with a haunted train, among other attractions. Plus we’ll have a preview of some big events coming up later this month, from an Enchanted Garden Gala to the Borrego Days Desert Festival and HauntFest on Main Street.
