TWO FROM GROSSMONT COLLEGE RECEIVE NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP FOR LGBTQ STUDENTS

June 27, 2019 (El Cajon) -  Two Grossmont College students are recipients of scholarships from the Point Foundation, the nation’s largest scholarship-granting organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) students of merit.

July 14, 2018 (San Diego) – A rainbow flag raised on July 11th at the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union center heralded the kick-off for pride festivities at San Diego State University. An SDSU delegation also marched in the San Diego Pride Parade today in Hillcrest, with students, staff, faculty and alumni joining in.

The San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency is advising gay and bisexual men, homeless individuals, and people with compromised immune systems that they could be at an increased risk for the intestinal disease shigellosis.
