March 8, 2020 (Norman, Okla.) - Oklahoma scored an unearned run in the bottom of the 10th inning on Sunday to escape with a 9-8 victory over visiting San Diego State in the final game of a weekend series at L. Dale Mitchell Park.

March 4, 2020 (San Diego) - San Diego State won its third straight with a 7-2 triumph over No. 17/17 Long Beach State in a non-conference game Tuesday at Tony Gwynn Stadium.

Mike Jarvis (two RBI), Casey Schmitt (two runs), Anthony Walters and Brian Leonhardt finished with two hits apiece for the Aztecs, who also utilized four pitchers on the night, giving up just two unearned runs to raise their record to 9-4 overall.

February 29, 2020 (San Diego) - Three San Diego State pitchers combined for 14 strikeouts against Oregon State on Saturday, as the Aztecs rolled to a 6-0 victory at Tony Gwynn Stadium.

After the Aztec staff was victimized by a combined 17 runs and 25 hits in the first two games of the series, the trio of starter Troy Melton and relievers Christian Winston and Avery Jones came up huge, limiting the Beavers to just four hits to help the Scarlet and Black complete its first shutout of the 2020 campaign.

February 22, 2020 (San Diego) - San Diego State erupted for four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning Saturday to defeat visiting Nebraska by a 4-2 count in the Tony Gwynn Legacy tournament.

With two outs in their half of the frame, Wyatt Hendrie delivered a key two-run single to help lift the Aztecs to their third straight victory.

February 21, 2020 (San Diego) - San Diego State’s Jaden Fein and Jacob Cruce combined for three RBIs on back-to-back singles in the bottom of the seventh inning on Friday to lift the Aztecs to a 4-1 triumph over Iowa as part of the Tony Gwynn Legacy event at Tony Gwynn Stadium.

September 16, 2019 (San Diego) - SDSU baseball head Coach Mark Martinez has released the Aztecs’ 2020 schedule. The 2020 slate includes 36 home games and five opponents who made the NCAA Tournament in 2019. Additionally, Tony Gwynn Stadium will be the site of the Mountain West Championships for the second time in the last three years.

June 5, 2019 (Secaucus, N.J.) - The Padres took seven consecutive pitchers yesterday on day two.  One East County kid was drafted. May 29, 2019 (San Diego) - San Diego State has been selected to host the 2020 Mountain West Championships for the fifth time and the second time in the last three years, the conference office announced on Wednesday.

Tony Gwynn Stadium will host the conference's top four regular-season finishers in a double elimination tournament running from May 21-24, 2020. The Aztecs have previously hosted the event in 2001, 2010, 2011, and 2018.

May 24, 2019 (Reno) - The San Diego State baseball team fell to Nevada, 6-4, to finish the Mountain West Championships on Friday afternoon at Peccole Park. The Aztecs finish their season with a 32-25 record.

SDSU, which entered the game with a 19-6 record when scoring first, jumped out to a 4-1 lead in thanks to a 2-RBI single by Casey Schmitt in the first inning, a Jacob Maekawa run on a throwing error while stealing third in the fourth, and an Angelo Armenta single to left field scoring Matt Rudick in the fourth.

May 24, 2019 (Reno) -  San Diego State suffered a 9-3 loss to UNLV in its first-round Mountain West Championships contest at Peccole Park on Thursday afternoon. SDSU, now 32-24 on the season, will face the loser of No. 1 seed Fresno State and No. 4 seed Nevada at 2:00 p.m. tomorrow in an elimination game.

May 18, 2019 (San Diego) - The San Diego State baseball team capped the 2019 regular season with a 7-4 loss against New Mexico on Saturday afternoon at Tony Gwynn Stadium. The Aztecs finish the regular season with a 32-23 record (16-13 Mountain West), while New Mexico finishes 2019 with a 23-28-1 record (11-16-1 MW).

May 17, 2019 (San Diego) - Despite a strong start from Adrian Mardueno, the San Diego State baseball team fell to New Mexico 2-0 at Tony Gwynn Stadium on Friday night to even the weekend series. The Aztecs now sit at 32-22 (16-12 Mountain West), while New Mexico improves its record to 22-28-1 (10-16-1 MW).

May 16, 2019 (San Diego) - Behind a complete game shutout by senior right-handed pitcher Justin Goossen-Brown, the San Diego State baseball team opened its three-game series against New Mexico with an 8-0 victory on Thursday night at Tony Gwynn Stadium. The Aztecs improve to 32-21 (16-11 Mountain West) on the season. New Mexico, meanwhile, saw its record fall to 21-28-1 (9-16-1).

May 12, 2019 (Fresno) - The San Diego State baseball team suffered an 8-3 loss to Fresno State in the series finale on Sunday afternoon. The Aztecs, now 2.5 games behind Fresno State for first place in the conference, are now 31-21 overall and 15-11 in the Mountain West.

May 11, 2019 (Fresno) - The San Diego State baseball team used six multiple hit-performances and a four-inning save with no earned runs allowed by Adrian Mardueno in a 10-6 win over Fresno State on Saturday night. With the series now tied, the Aztecs are now 1.5 games behind the Bulldogs in the Mountain West standings.

May 10, 2019 (Fresno) - San Diego State had a four-game winning streak come to a close after a 10-2 loss to Fresno State on Friday night. With the loss, the Aztecs are now 2.5 games behind the Bulldogs for first place in the Mountain West with a conference record of 14-10 (30-20 overall). The Bulldogs improve to 31-13-1 with a 16-7-1 league mark while extending their win streak to five.

May 5, 2019 (San Diego) - In their second-to-last home series of the season, SDSU baseball has posted two huge come-from-behind wins against the San Jose State Spartans.  They looked to complete the sweep today with freshman Jonathan Clark on the mound for the Spartans against freshman Aaron Eden for the Aztecs.

May 5, 2019 (San Diego) - The San Diego State baseball team scored all nine of its runs over a three-inning span to defeat San Jose State, 9-7, at Tony Gwynn Stadium on Saturday night. The Aztecs clinch a series win and have a chance of a sweep tomorrow after tonight's victory improved their record to 28-19 (13-9 Mountain West). The Spartans fall to 19-28 (12-11 MW).

April 27, 2019 (Las Vegas) - A two-out ninth-inning single by Matt Rudick scored a pair of Aztec runs and cut UNLV's lead to just one, but the San Diego State baseball team fell just short at Earl E. Stadium on Saturday night, falling to the Rebels 5-4. SDSU falls to 26-18 (11-8 Mountain West), while the Rebels now stand at 24-20 (11-12 MW).
