April 15, 2018 (San Diego) - The San Diego State baseball team claimed a non-conference series win against Cal State Fullerton on Sunday afternoon, defeating the Titans 9-6 at Tony Gwynn Stadium. SDSU improves to 23-13 on the season while CSF falls to 17-17.

April 14, 2018 (San Diego) - San Diego State baseball is rolling, but they haven’t had the greatest luck in conference play.  Tonight they played game two of a weekend series against CSU Fullerton.  Freshman Tommy Wilson started for Fullerton against junior transfer Garrett Hill.

SDSU improves to 21-11 (8-6 Mountain West), while Air Force falls to 14-17 (7-8 Mountain West).

April 3, 2018 (Lake Elsinore) - San Diego State starting pitcher Harrison Pyatt took a no-hitter bid into the eighth inning before surrendering his first and only hit of the game in SDSU baseball's  5-1 victory over Long Beach State at Lake Elsinore Diamond on Tuesday night. SDSU earns its 20th win of the season and improves to 20-9 overall, while LBSU drops to 11-18 on the season.

Justin Goossen-Brown logged another successful start for the Aztecs, going 5.1 innings on the mound for SDSU, allowing just one earned run and four hits allowed.

March 25, 2018 (Las Vegas) - The San Diego State baseball team exploded for 22 runs and 23 hits in a 22-7 drubbing of UNLV on Sunday, leaving the Aztecs with its fifth consecutive weekend series win and now have sole possession of second place in the Mountain West, sitting just a half-game back of Nevada (7-2 MW), which defeated Fresno State earlier today. The Aztecs improve to 16-7 on the year (6-2 MW), while UNLV falls to 20-5 (6-3 MW).

March 19, 2018 (San Diego) - San Diego State infielder Jordan Verdon was named one of nine Collegiate Baseball's National Players of the Week, it was announced Monday morning

In San Diego State's week, which featured a 3-1 record over four road games, Verdon hit .471 (8-for-17) with six doubles and nine RBI. In each of the four games, Verdon recorded at least two hits, one RBI, and one extra-base hit.

After the Falcons won the first game 7-3, SDSU responded with a 3-2 victory in the nightcap. The Aztecs are now 10-5 overall and 4-1 in the Mountain West, while Air Force is 5-10 on the season with a 1-2 conference mark.

March 6, 2018 (Tuscon) - The San Diego State baseball team suffered a 13-4 setback to Arizona at Hi Corbett Field. The No. 25 Aztecs fall to 8-4 on the year, while Arizona evens its record to 6-6.

The Aztecs swung the bat well in the early stages of the game, scoring a pair of first-inning runs in thanks to a Jordan Verdon double scoring David Hensley and Julian Escobedo. An inning later, the Aztecs built that lead to 3-0 with leadoff hitter Matt Rudick bringing home Escobedo on a single through the left side of the inning.
