SDSU's four game win streak snapped

March 30, 2019 (Tempe) - The No. 21 Aztec water polo team (12-12) fell to No. 8 Arizona State 6-4 Saturday afternoon in their second game of the ASU Invitational. SDSU fell behind 3-1 early in the game and were unable to recover.

Maura Cantoni had nine saves and all the four SDSU goals came from different players.

After falling behind 3-1, the Aztecs were able to tie the game up after a Syndey Hurst goal with 6:13 remaining in the third. Arizona State finished the game on a 3-1 run however to snap the Aztecs four game win streak.

The Aztecs wrap up the ASU Invitational Sunday with a game against No. 19 San Jose State at 11:30 a.m.
