This week’s Destination East County includes Sweet Pea Days, the Morning Glory Brunch and Frog Race, a Camel Dairy tour, and the world famous Romeros family guitarists live in concert. We’ll also have a preview of coming attractions including the Lakeside Rodeo a concert with a “twist,” and opening night of Cajon Classic Cruises, so stay tuned for all of these events and more!

SWEET! APRIL 13 IS SWEET PEA DAY AT SUMMERS PAST FARMS

April 2, 2013 (Flinn Springs) -- Find your way through a towering fragrant sweet pea maze at Summers Past Farms in Flinn Springs, celebrating this fragrant old –fashioned flower in its full glory. You will cut your own sweet pea bouquets during this event while they last. Bring the kids, walk through the maze and enjoy live music in the coffee bar areas or picnic on the grass.

View the maze from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.  Cutting bouquets starts at 11 a.m. Arrive early – these vanish quickly!  Cost is $3 per bouquet.  Sweet Pea Day activities continue until 3 p.m.

March 28, 2013 (Flinn Springs)--Spend your morning enjoying sweet peas on April 13 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Summers Past Farms annual "Sweet Pea Days."  The farm is located at 14602 Olde Highway 80 in Flinn Springs.  Should you decide to cut your own bouquet, you can do so at $3.00 per bouquet from 11:00 a.m. until the blooms are gone.
